Tutorial for new user

  1. Firstly you need to ask administrator to create a user for you, the following informations are needded:
    • username (note, not able to be changed anymore)
    • Email
    • Lab Postion
  2. Got to keycloak management link Link, you could also find this at home navigation page.
  3. Choose forget password, you will receive resetting link and you would able to set your profiles

Mattermost user migration

We have migraed mattermost data from AIML to If you are already the user in AIML, you need to manuallycheck resetif yourthere passwordis sincelost that will not be migrated.

  1. Go to our mattermost, link,dialogs.

  2. Choose Forgot your password and use your old username, email, to reset your password

  • After that you could successfully log in to MM, then go to Profile ->

    1. check your dialog and profile, your profile like nickname, profile pagephoto are lost, and you need to manually migrate your focal board, just follow the following page, export archive(left page), import archive(right page). (unfortunately some info like creation time, createdBy Assignee are lost)

    Notice:

    • In mattermost, Please ensure that you have changed from password to gitlab login, later we would disable username-password login
    • It's recommended to add SSH key to use gitlab asap.
    • You could only change your profile like name password under keycloak
    • Services under the name xxx back-up is the last day's mirror and only be used when emergent usage like service is down.
    • Nextcloud:
      • there is a group called "everyone", any people is defautly in this group, you could place any files that you wanna to share public
      • Be careful for online/offline editing office(docx, xlsx, pptx etc) files, You could only cooperate(multiple users edit one file ) online. And remember to check if your editing is synced back properly or not.
    • Bookstack:
      • phd and phd+ has permission to read/write any books/pages/..., while guest only read/write their own books.
